Our aim is to create a safe and wholesome place for children and young people to explore drama, theatre and the arts as a whole. We want to invest in the young people that join us, providing a safe environment to nurture children's interest in theatre, a supportive place to build their confidence and make friends, and the opportunity to perform wholesome, clean, family-friendly material.

Testimonials and Reviews

"Behind the scenes praise must go to our former reviewer, and now director of Kindred Spirits, Heather Reynolds, who not only got the most out of the cast and small stage area but also showed genuine care and support for the members of the company and their wellbeing and who would lead me to highly recommend anyone whose children want to get into acting to join the company."

Claire Taranaski
Theatre Reviewer

"My granddaughter started attending Kindred Spirits in January 2024. I was keen for her to join to try and give her some confidence as she was a very shy girl. The difference in her is outstanding. She no longer walks with her head down, shoulders hunched. She now makes eye contact when people speak to her. The difference in her is amazing. She has self belief, enjoys being part of the theatre company and just loves every minute of it. A big thank you to Heather and all the team at Kindred Spirits."

Testimonial

"My son joined Kindred Spirits in May of this year and has thoroughly enjoyed his time so far. He has made friends and looks forward to the session each week. His first performance for the company demonstrated the hard work of the company, and I was impressed with how talented the children were. Heather (the company lead) is friendly, approachable and maintains great communication."
